Liam Small is a writer, actor, film technician, musician, and comedian from Gander, Newfoundland. Having spent many years working backstage as well as on-stage, he studied Psychology and Performance & Communications Media at Memorial University, convocating with honors in 2011 before beginning work full time in the St. John’s film and theater industry as a technician. 

As a filmmaker, he has worked as a props-master on several award winning short films, and his first film as a writer/director “Serenity Plow” was a featured selection in the 2015 Nickel Independent Film Festival. 

As a comedian, Liam has appeared on CBC Radio 1 as a political satirist, and Bell's TV1 after winning "James Mullingers Comedy Bootcamp - Newfoundland." Since 2015, Liam has appeared at YukYuks comedy clubs, on Eastlink TV, The Newfoundland Telegram, Arts and Culture Center stages across the Canadian east coast, and headlining the Exploits Valley Salmon Festival Comedy Showcase. Liam was most recently featured on Bell TV1 and well as Hudson and Rex Season 5 on CityTV. 

Currently residing in St. John's, he runs a monthly comedy showcase while continuing to work in the film and television industry while actively performing all over the island.
